I'm Sidharth Choudhary, Sid to most people. I'm in the final year of a dual MSc–MTech in Data and Computational Science at IIT Jodhpur, specialising in mathematics.
What I care about
Numbers I can defend. It's easy to build a model that scores well; it's harder to know whether it scores well for the right reason. Most of my time on a project goes into that second question: looking for leakage, running the check that might embarrass the result, and writing down what I find either way.
I also like shipping. Three of my four projects are running on the internet right now, and the fourth publishes its code, experiment record and results, though a rerun needs 396 MB of vendor price data that isn't in the repo.
What I'm looking for
Roles building with LLMs and agents, and quantitative research. Both reward the same thing: being honest about what the data actually says. My thesis, Predictive Engine, is the quant side of that; Honest Mistake and Reasonable Doubt are the AI side.
